Trump Goes Full Elders Of Zion And Questions The Loyalty Of The American Jewish Population

Trump has a mouth that won’t stop.  I don’t know what fuels it, as his brain seems to have malfunctioned some time ago.

“It used to be Israel had absolute power over Congress, and today I think it’s the exact opposite,” he said.  Trump had been speaking to Barak Ravid, an Israeli journalist for Axios who wrote a book on Trump’s Middle Eastern policies. Ravid discussed his conversation with the former president on a podcast called “Unholy: Two Jews on the News,” which aired a clip of the interview Friday.

“I must be honest. It’s a very dangerous thing that’s happening,” Trump said. “People in this country that are Jewish no longer love Israel.”  He went on: “I’ll tell you, the evangelical Christians love Israel more than the Jews in this country.”  “It used to be Israel had absolute power over Congress,” Trump said. “And today I think it’s the exact opposite. And I think Obama and Biden did that.

“I mean, you look at The New York Times ― The New York Times hates Israel. Hates ’em. And they’re Jewish people that run The New York Times. I mean, the Sulzbergers,” Trump said. (Arthur Ochs Sulzberger Jr. was the longtime chairman of The New York Times Company; he was succeeded by his son, A.G. Sulzberger. They have Jewish ancestry but, according to the Times of Israel, some descendants were raised Protestant.)

The idea that the global power structure is controlled by Jewish persons is of course an anti-semitic trope that goes back to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion an antisemitic book from Russia first published in 1903.

Although the exact origin of the Protocols is unknown, its intent was to portray Jews as conspirators against the state. In 24 chapters, or protocols, allegedly minutes from meetings of Jewish leaders, the Protocols “describes” the “secret plans” of Jews to rule the world by manipulating the economy, controlling the media, and fostering religious conflict.

Following the Russian Revolution of 1917, anti-Bolshevik émigrés brought the Protocols to the West. Soon after, editions circulated across Europe, the United States, South America, and Japan. An Arabic translation first appeared in the 1920s.

Beginning in 1920, auto magnate Henry Ford’s newspaper, The Dearborn Independent, published a series of articles based in part on the ProtocolsThe International Jew, the book that included this series, was translated into at least 16 languages. Both Adolf Hitler and Joseph Goebbels, later head of the propaganda ministry, praised Ford and The International Jew.

Trump might as well have been quoting directly from the book.  It is dangerous rhetoric at a time where the world’s most consequential democracy, the U.S., is splitting along fault lines of race, culture, and religion.

But this is where I will leave this.  With this photo:

That is a reminder of what we are up against.  This one photo is more important to internalize, than anything I have to say, however impassioned, eloquent, or informed I might be.  There are a lot of things that I have on my mind to say in expression of my revulsion.  But in this case it is more important, in my opinion, that you take in this scene from San Antonio, Texas on Halloween of 2021.

I am of course your friend.

But in this case we need to hear our enemy, the neo-nazis that might be your next door neighbors.

They are telling you exactly what they are.

Believe them.

Big news!  I have decided to start a Patreon page to support my work.  It will be different  from my newsletter, so everyone is getting original content.  I am exhausted, and it will be more work, but my fees have gone up and I am not going to raise pricing.  As you most of you know I am working the only way I can to provide for my family and trying to reclaim my health post-cancer surgery.  So if you will support my writing, it will do so much to help me.  Everyone will get value, and my best works.

And as always you can subscribe to my newsletter here-

Love,
