Why does Andrew Yang Seem to be Carrying Water for Trump?

Andrew Yang’s influence in politics is minimal.

But he thinks a lot of himself, and apparently, despite nearly constant political rejection, won’t leave the stage.

As we know, Andrew Yang, the man with an ego so big he thought he could go from obscure tech entrepreneur to President, then decided to “lower himself” to try to become New York’s mayor, is becoming more than just a thorn in the side of Democrats.  His attempt at a third party is starting to politically undermine the Justice Department.

In my lifetime, I have found few people who like themselves more than Andrew Yang.  But all he really is, in political terms, is the wannabe hanging around the cabstand hoping to be assigned to sell some cigarettes at the construction site.  But he has Twitter.  And ego plus social media can equal trouble.  But so that we know exactly what Andrew Yang is, let me make it clear:

“Calling attention to the fact that America has also interfered in elections of the past is just acknowledging a historical fact,” Yang said of his answer during last week’s primary debate. “[I] was not making any claims of right or wrong.”

During the debate, Yang said he would tell Moscow: “We’ve tampered with other elections. You’ve tampered with our elections. And now it has to stop.” The answer drew jeers on Twitter and a quick rebuke from rival Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) who shot back: “I don’t see a moral equivalency between our country and Russia.”

Uh, ya.  And of course, there is his defense of Joe Rogan,

In a sea of overwrought defenses of Joe Rogan on social media over the weekend, former Democratic presidential and New York mayoral candidate Andrew Yang tweeted what has to be the worst excuse for the comedian’s long history of using racial slurs on his popular podcast. “I don’t think Joe Rogan is a racist,” Yang, who appeared as a guest on The Joe Rogan Experience during his primary campaign in February 2019, declared, adding, “the man interacts and works with black people literally all of the time.”

Like for real.

Andrew Yang’s Forward party is threatening to take America two steps back.

Don’t trip.
